Thousands of people have already built a free, clean wind power source into their homes cheaply. Whats your hold up?
Here is some info to help you join the green movement without paying out too much of your own green.
Why not just go out and buy a wind generator?
Well for starters, if you are thinking of creating your own power then you are also thinking of saving money. The last thing you will do if you purchase one is save money – as prices for these start at about $1000 dollars for a decent generator.
But – you can build your own if you have the right plans, for a fraction of the cost of buying one. In fact, you can make your own source of residential wind power for around $100-$200, and a week or two of your spare time.
So… what will you need to make your own wind generator?
First you will need a good set of project plants/blueprints to work from. This is the most important part of the project, because if you have bad plans your generator may be flimsy or may be under-powered.
On the other hand, if you have well-engineered plans, your generator will last a long time and generate a lot of power.
You’ll also need an area to work in such as a garage, common household tools (or a quick trip to the local hardware store), and about four full days to complete the job.
What are the parts of a wind generator system?
Your wind generator system will consist of five parts: the motor/alternator, blades, the tail, the tower it all sits on, and batteries/charge controllers that deliver electricity to your home.
You will have to order the motor for the wind generator. Your plans will tell you where to get the motor, what size you need and all the technical stuff you need to know to be sure you get what you need. It is a very important part as it is what converts the wind power into electric to power your home.
The blades of the wind generator are critical because they are what actually convert the wind into rotational energy which can be used by the alternator to make electricity. Blueprints that show you how to create efficient blades quickly are very important and can make or break your project.
The tail can be made in many different ways and is fairly simple. Like the fletching of an arrow, it makes the turbine blades point align with the wind at all times, which is very important, as I’m sure you can imagine.
The wind generator tower: You can buy or build your own tower. The best thing to do is find an old TV tower and recycle it for your wind generator tower. Many people will even pay you to take them down and get them out of their way.
Batteries and charge controllers: You will need storage batteries to store all that power you will be making and a way to control the charging process. This is a very important part of your residential wind power system. You will need to run wires from the wind generator to the battery bank to put the power in the batteries, then you can run wires from the batteries to a power inverter to run AC current to power your home.
Now that you know some of the basics, you can see that it’s not that complicated or expensive to have your own residential wind power system to run your household. All you need now are the plans to get started.
With the right manual, you can get well-engineered plans for easy to build wind turbines that can create enough energy to cover your power bill.
Recommended project blueprints for residential wind power generation:
If you want blueprints that will help you build powerful wind generators for $100-$200, Earth4Energy is highly recommended and you can download it to your computer in a few minutes. You should click here to see what Earth4Energy is all about.
P.S. In Earth4Energy you’ll also learn how to make solar panels for $100-$200 that can generate power for you on days when the wind stops but the sun is out! Download the full Earth4Energy manual at this link.
P.P.S. This is a commercial guide to build wind and solar power and it costs a bit of money. If you buy through this link above, I’m getting some commission, too, just to let you know. This is no way biases my opinion on the product, however! And if you don’t like it after you buy, just email the Earth4Energy website or go directly to Clickbank.com (order processor) and ask for your money back. You’ll get it back, and they won’t ask for a reason (it’s how Clickbank products work) within 60 days… Just shows how much they believe in their guide. Hope you like it and good luck!
