How To Build Wind Turbines Into Your House
And Cut Your Electricity Costs Down To Zero Dollars.

Did you know?

You can reduce your bills as well as your footprint on the Earth and now it can cost you next to nothing and even make you money.

But don't be frightened when I say the big bad words 'Do It Yourself'!

Because generating enough electricity for your home with wind power generators isn't nearly as tough as you might think it is - you just need to find the right experts who know what they are doing.

As seen on:

Our effective homemade wind generator.

We reviewed and researched 17 blueprints, guides, manuals and tutorials that claim to show you how to do all this, but most of them were a complete waste of time and money, to tell you the truth.

The 2 sites listed below have on them the best and most professional of the manuals we found. They are all produced by leading experts in the field and are growing in popularity (and hopefully that trend will continue for all renewable energy!)

Best of all anybody can follow them using simple tools. Take a look...

Earth 4 Energy...

The most complete guide we found was definetly the Earth 4 Energy guide, created by Michael Harvey.

Michael has had many homeowners, who previously knew nothing about generating their own natural power, that he has personally helped get off the grid using low-cost wind power generators and solar power.

It is definetly the cheapest guide to implement.

Michael reveals his secrets to getting all the materials necessary very cheap.

Here is some of what you get:

- he shows you clearly explained blueprints on how to make and install a wind turbine
- + how to install solar power generators
- where to get suitable storage batteries for free
- how to get government grants to fund your project
- + more. Check out the site to see.

Yea we know, pretty cool. You can spend all the money you save on things that you'd rather pay for.

And it's surprisingly simple, easy to follow if you've ever used a basic tool set before (hammer, wrench, screwdriver...). Head on over to his guide now and see for yourself:

Home Power Plant...

Ok, so even though it's not as comprehensive and clear as the Earth 4 Energy manual, Home Power Plant still contains some great ideas about natural power.

Frank Patrick, the creator of the guide, actually shows his POWER BILL - and its $3 a month! Of course if you end up generating more power than you need, your power company will actually pay you for the electricity you put back into the grid.

This guide shows you a cheap way to set up your 'home power plant' as well, just like Earth 4 Energy. And they teach you how to get government grants for producing renewable energy, which is a definite bonus.

If it were as clear and easy to follow as Earth 4 Energy we'd also have to give it the highest recommendation, but it is a bit flawed, though a lot of great material is still there.

You might need a bit of technical know how to get through it, but it still has some good advice.

Why Should You Learn How To Build a Wind Turbine?

With rising fuel and energy costs on the rise, many people are looking for their own alternative energy sources. Wind Power Generators have been use on farms for many years in varying degrees, before electric power became so readily available. In Holland and Denmark, they have learned how to build wind turbines and use them so prominently, that is almost the first thing you think of beside tulips when you think of their countries.

Location for your wind turbine:

You can build your own wind power generator for your home. The ideal situation is an area that is 20ft higher than the nearest obstacle or building, and about 250-400 feet away. Based on these calculations, you would need at least ½ acre or more, and would need to live in an area that had 9mph or higher average wind speed to power your wind power generator.

Better than Solar power in some locations:

Because much of the United States has more than 9mph average winds, this makes wind power generators an excellent alternative energy source. Because they can generate 1000 watts of power versus 100 watt for the average solar panel, they are a higher output system. Places with heavy snows and rain can’t always count on the sun, but can count on wind normally, so the wind power generators will have plenty of ability to get the batteries charged.

Components of a basic wind power generator:

Wind power generator is a description of the actual generator itself, you need a DC Motor, which will have to be order and can cost $50 on up. You will also need a wind power generator tower; some people have found free, old, TV antenna towers, as long as it meets the height requirement. Then you will need the battery bank, which is used to store and power the items connected to the wind power generator. Finally, you will need the plans for making the entire project to start generating wind power.

Homemade Wind Power Generator System prices:

Some individuals have build their own 500 watt systems, using homemade wind blades from large PVC, (5 foot wind generator, so blades about 30 inches in length for 500 watts), DC Motor, Recycling TV Antenna towers, and the batteries for the bank to hold the generated power. These homemade systems can be made for $400 or less depending on what you pay for building materials (you can get some parts free). You can buy kits that run around $2500-$4000, up to around $15,000 depending on the watts output.

Wind Power Generator Plans:

The basics of wind power generators have been around ever since the old windmills you still see at farms across the plains and prairies. There was no alternative choice for some electrical installations in the early days. No you can find plans on the Internet for building your own system, or buy components or kits that contain what you need to know.

Conclusion:

Anybody that has over a ½ acre of land, some PVC, a motor, some batteries, and either a tall TV Antenna, or some 2 or 3 inch steel to build a tower, can put together their own wind power generator, with just basic mechanic’s tools, and harness at least 500 watts, which is enough to power some lights, TV and a computer, just using a wind power generator. That can save you a bunch of money at the end of each month.

With the right manual, you can get engineer's plans for easy-to-build wind turbines that can create enough energy to cut up to 80% of your electricity bill each. Learn how to build a wind turbine.
